Mr. Saliba Kokaly
Vice President of Operations/Chief Safety Officer
A humble, genuine and skilled individual, Mr. Kokaly has held numerous positons one of which is the Vice President of Operations at Swedish Hospital (SW) part of NorthShore University Health System (NorthShore). Mr. Kokaly serves also as Swedish Hospital’s Chief Safety Officer and oversees their Safety Management Program.
In addition, Mr. Kokaly is a consultant for the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC)/Health Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), in which he does Life Safety (LS) re-accreditation surveys per the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) standards for the hospitals throughout the USA.
Mr. Kokaly is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is currently serving on North Park University’s School of Business & Nonprofit Management Advisory Board and most recently did a presentation at the “Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society in Business Administration” named “Cultivating Excellence in a Changing Healthcare Environment”. Mr. Kokaly serves also on the Beit Sahour USA Board of Trustees and is a member of their Executive Committee.
Mr. Kokaly earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) majoring in International Business from North Park University, Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Southern Illinois University, and a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Birzeit University.
In his free time, Mr. Kokaly enjoys golfing, the outdoors and spending time with his wife and three kids. He seldom misses a chance to connect with his family in Beit Sahour and always looks out for his community and loved ones before himself.
Mr. Kokaly currently resides with his family in Chicago, Illinois.
