I am a 3rd year law student at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia. I am originally from Indiana, where I graduated summa cum laude in 2018 with a double major in international studies and political science. While I was in my undergrad program, I ventured to take a semester abroad in Rome, Italy, where I interned at an Italian journal, analyzing and publishing academic articles on a variety of global issues. I plan to graduate from law school in May 2021, where I will begin my long-anticipated career as a lawyer. During my time in law school, I served as Research Editor for my school’s International Law journal publication and participated in numerous moot court competitions. Based on my internship experience during law school, I have developed a profound interest in corporate law, and plan to continue on that route post graduation. I am a proud Palestinian both inside and out, who has advocated for peace and prosperity for the region my whole life. Beit Sahour USA has not only connected me with numerous successful young Sahouris all around the country, but has allowed me to be a part of the young adults Arabic program, where I am able to finetune my Arabic skills. “I hope for the organization to continue on the path of greatness it is on currently, by offering a platform for all Sahouri youth and adults to join together for one common cause. I hope to be able to see the organization put on a convention in person in the future, and to keep this tradition alive for future generations,”said Amanda
